GoldLinQ does not have the ability to manipulate traffic light phasing along the light rail corridor. Traffic lights have been installed in accordance with Council requirements providing priority for trams. Our current finishing works is for hardware only and will not alter signal phasing in any way. The traffic signal hardware assets will be returned to council when complete. GoldLinQ has no knowledge of council’s synchronisation plans and they have not been discussed with us at any stage.
