A Gold Coast Water water main burst early this morning at the intersection of Gold Coast Highway (Ferny Avenue) and Staghorn Avenue.

Although this incident is not a result of light rail works, project teams are assisting Gold Coast City Council with this issue.

To facilitate repair works, a number of traffic changes and detours have been put in place around the area.

GoldLinQ CEO Phil Mumford has thanked motorists for their patience while this important repair work is done.
